Itinerary:

Day 1: Reception – Mexico City

Reception at the Mexico City airport. We will transfer you to the selected hotel. Free afternoon for personal activities.

Day 2: Mexico City – City Tour – Anthropology Museum

Explore the Historic Center of Mexico City with visits to the Zócalo, the National Palace (featuring Diego Rivera’s murals), the Templo Mayor, and the Metropolitan Cathedral. The journey continues along Reforma and Chapultepec avenues to the iconic National Museum of Anthropology—the most significant institution of its kind in Latin America, dedicated to Mexico’s archaeological legacy and ethnic diversity.

Day 3: Mexico City – Coyoacán – Xochimilco – Frida Kahlo

Explore the south of the city starting in Coyoacán, the capital’s bohemian and intellectual heart, home to prestigious institutions like UNAM. We continue to Xochimilco to see the "chinampas," ancient Mesoamerican floating gardens. The tour concludes at the Frida Kahlo Museum (The Blue House), where we will discover the intimate world of the iconic artist in her family home.

Day 4: Mexico City – Cuernavaca – Taxco – Mexico City

Depart for Cuernavaca, the "City of Eternal Spring," to visit its 16th-century Cathedral and view the historic Palace of Cortés. We continue to the picturesque mining town of Taxco, a national monument nestled in the mountains. Explore its cobblestone streets, admire the stunning gold-leaf altars of Santa Prisca Church, and discover the exquisite work of its world-famous silver artisans before returning to Mexico City.

Day 5: Mexico City – Cholula – Puebla

Begin with views of the volcanoes on the way to Cholula, home to the Great Pyramid and the vibrant Tonantzintla Church. We continue to Puebla, a World Heritage city and the birthplace of Talavera pottery. We will visit its magnificent Cathedral, the first of its kind in the Americas, and the breathtaking Rosary Chapel. Often called the "House of Gold" and the eighth wonder of the world, this chapel stands as the supreme masterpiece of New Spanish Baroque.

Día 6 Puebla – Oaxaca – Tour Por La Ciudad

Travel by bus to Oaxaca, a city famous for its stunning green quarry architecture and its colonial heritage. As the birthplace of key historical figures like Benito Juárez, it is a hub of Mexican culture. Our tour includes the Santo Domingo Cultural Center to see the archaeological treasures of Monte Albán’s Tomb Seven, the majestic Santo Domingo Temple, and the bustling Benito Juárez Market, the heart of the city’s daily life.

Day 7: Oaxaca – Monte Albán – Arrazola – Coyotepec – Oaxaca

Explore Monte Albán, one of the most spectacular archaeological sites in the Americas, perched atop a mountain and once home to the Zapotec and Mixtec cultures. We will visit the Main Plaza, the Observatory, and its world-renowned tombs. The journey continues through the villages of Arrazola, famous for its colorful alebrijes; Cuilapán, home to a 16th-century open chapel; and Coyotepec, celebrated for its traditional black clay (barro negro) pottery.

Day 8: Oaxaca – Tule – Teotitlán Del Valle – Mitla – Mezcal Palenque – Oaxaca

Visit the ancient Tule Tree, the world's widest, and the village of Teotitlán del Valle, renowned for its wool textiles and pre-Hispanic natural dyes. We will explore the archaeological site of Mitla, the "Place of the Dead," famous for its fine architecture and symbolic stone fretwork. The day concludes at an artisanal mezcal distillery (palenque) to learn about the production process and enjoy a tasting of different traditional varieties.

Day 9: Oaxaca – Mexico City

At the scheduled time, departure to the bus terminal to board a bus to Mexico City. Reception in Mexico City and transfer to the selected hotel.

Day 10: Mexico City – Basilica of Guadalupe – Teotihuacán Pyramids – Departure Transfer

The tour begins at the Basilica of Guadalupe, the most significant Catholic site in the Americas. We then head to the pre-Hispanic city of Teotihuacán, one of the ancient world’s largest urban centers. Explore the awe-inspiring Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the Avenue of the Dead, and its sacred temples. After a brief visit to a local obsidian workshop, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
