The clients will take a small bag carrying what they might need to do this horse excursion; they should wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
Horse Trail Palmarito Viñales is done joined by a local guide, through mountain trails to enjoy nature and appreciate the traditions of the local farmers. Almost the entire valley of Viñales is crossed and the mogotes are fully contemplated. During the tour you can see the whole process of tobacco from the plantation, collection, drying, and elaboration of Cuban artisanal habano. You will learn about the local flora and fauna, enjoying the beautiful landscapes and will know about the way of living of the farmers. You can also learn about the process to prepare the coffee, bee’s honey and guayabita del Pinar local rum that has achieved great prestige inside and outside our country, in this excursion you can also taste a delicious guarapo (juice from the sugar cane). In the middle of the tour, time for picnic and visit to a natural lake of crystalline waters that arise from underground springs, where visitors have the option of swimming, offering a paradise setting guaranteeing an unforgettable moment. In this place we will rest about 40 minutes before continuing with the trip. At the end we will return home on horseback with our guide.
