Trinidad

The city of Trinidad is not large, but its size is largely compensated by its history and heritage wealth. It is located in the south of the island and just over 10 km from the Ancón peninsula where underwater activities attract many visitors. The city obtains a colonial urban design and with its buildings, squares and cobblestone streets, it has earned the name, the city-museum of the Caribbean. It is the ideal place to appreciate the richest and most varied artisan tradition.
Your stay will not be complete without tasting the most famous Trinidadian cocktail; the Canchanchara. You must visit the great National park, Topes de Collantes and Valle de los Ingenios, with the old Iznaga family lookout tower.
